SSG IF took an early grip on the match at home at Björkvallen in Norra Kvinneby when Oskar Andersson scored the opening goal after nineteen minutes of play. After this, SSG IF was clearly the better team and created several dangerous chances.
Nybro IF tried to find their way back into the game and had their first dangerous chances towards the end of the first half. At halftime, SSG IF led 1-0.
In the second half, SSG IF continued to be the stronger team and played disciplined. After just under an hour of play, SSG IF also received a yellow card when William Alvarmo committed a foul.
As the match approached its final stages, Nybro IF really tried to push forward and managed to pull one back when Björn Ohlsson accurately shot the ball into the net. But it was too late; SSG IF had scored two goals during the match - and when Oskar Andersson netted his second goal in the final minutes, the victory was secured. The match ended 3-1 in favor of the home team, SSG IF.
