Lessebo GoIF triumphed in an exciting match against Hossmo BK at Lessebo IP. The match was played in Division 4 Småland Sydöstra for men on August 25, 2023, at 18:30 on a Friday evening. Unfortunately, there were no spectators due to Covid-19, and without fans in the arena, only referee Roine Söderlind and his assistants Albin and Ali Ramadani could hear the players' shouts and cheers.

Filip Jeppsson advanced forward and took a fantastic shot that went into the top corner behind the goalkeeper. Hossmo BK was not defeated yet and continued to fight hard, but Lessebo GoIF added another goal through Tif Kiddu, extending their lead.
However, Hossmo BK showed they did not want to give up and scored their first goal through Isac Ilhammar, and just one minute later, Albin Lindholm equalized the game with a well-placed shot. After that, the game became tougher and remained goalless until the 62nd minute when Hossmo's Lindholm received a warning.
Lessebo GoIF responded by receiving a warning themselves when Salem Elias tackled an opponent in the penalty area. But with only nine minutes left on the clock, Yasir Elias took the lead with a fantastic shot that sailed past the goalkeeper, securing the victory for Lessebo GoIF with a score of 3-2.
It was a well-played match from both teams, and Hossmo BK demonstrated that they had the potential to challenge Lessebo GoIF. But in the end, it was Lessebo GoIF who took home the victory and showed why they are one of the strongest teams in Division 4 Småland Sydöstra for men.
