IFK Borgholm hosted Hossmo BK at Borgholms IP in an exciting match in Division 4 Småland Südöst. Despite it being a Sunday afternoon with no spectators present, the teams delivered an intense match with many chances.
Just 10 minutes into the game, IFK Borgholm took the lead thanks to Jakob Hultenius, who scored and gave the home team an early advantage. However, Hossmo BK did not give up and fought their way back into the match.
In the 50th minute, Isac Ilhammar equalized for Hossmo BK, and the match was once again wide open. It was a closely contested game where both teams had the chance to come out victorious.
In the 77th minute, Jonathan Hildebrand from IFK Borgholm received a yellow card, and the pace of the game increased even further. With only three minutes left of regular time, Jonas Sturesson stepped up and made it 1-2 for Hossmo BK, which also turned out to be the last goal of the match.
Ervin Dzananovic and Alexander Jakobsson also received yellow cards for IFK Borgholm, while Albin Lindholm from Hossmo BK was cautioned in the 90th minute.
When the referee blew the final whistle, it was clear that Hossmo BK had managed to come back in the match and take home three important points. IFK Borgholm will have to return to the drawing board and continue working to climb up the table.
