Tonight, two rival teams met in an exciting soccer match at Trollevi in Forserum. In front of an enthusiastic crowd of just 50 people, referee Naoir Toma blew the whistle to start the match in Division 4 Småland Vetlanda for women between Forserums IF and Hvetlanda GIF (9-m).

The match began at a high tempo, and Forserums IF immediately showed which of the two teams was the stronger one. After a nice combination in their attack, Lisa Brink scored the first goal for the home team, and the score was 1-0 for the rest of the first half.

In the second half, Hvetlanda GIF showed they were not beaten yet. 22 minutes into the half, Anna Ljungberg rose high in the air from a corner kick and headed in the equalizer, making it 1-1. Just ten minutes later, Wilma Levin made a great run and scored to put her team up 2-1 from the penalty spot.

But Forserums IF fought back, and Johanna Larsson equalized for the home team just before the halftime break. Right at the start of the second half, Larsson scored again and made it 3-2 for Forserums IF.

It was not over yet; Lisa Brink was rewarded for her hard work when she also scored her second goal of the match, extending the lead to 4-2. Hvetlanda GIF tried hard to come back, but Forserums IF maintained a strong defense and held firm for the rest of the match.

The match report reflects an important victory for Forserums IF, which now moves up to second place in the division.
