Södertälje FK Ladies showed their strength when they faced BK Sport on Wednesday evening at Östertälje IP B1 in Division 4 Södermanland for women. Despite an attendance of only 40 people and referee Milos Radulovic officiating with a firm hand, Södertälje dominated from start to finish.
Just seven minutes into the match, the home team scored the first goal when Susan Kiryo showcased her impressive dribbling skills and pushed the ball into the net. BK Sport fought on but struggled to gain any real momentum in their play, which allowed Södertälje to continue to apply pressure on their opponents.
In the 19th minute, Kiryo struck again, increasing Södertälje's lead to 2-0. Diala Elia made her mark on the match after 23 minutes by scoring the third goal for the home team following a nice pass from Maria Üre. Elia was not done scoring and just a few minutes later, she found the net again, bringing the score to 4-0.
Södertälje FK Ladies continued on their path in the second half and extended their lead just five minutes in. Alexandra Bozan scored, and in the 53rd minute, it was again Maria Üre who delivered an excellent effort, making it 6-0, which effectively sealed the match.
However, the home team was not finished there, as Diala Elia continued her impressive performance, completing her hat trick with her third goal in the 74th minute. The match ended with Jinell Amno driving the final nail into the coffin in the 88th minute when she directed the ball into the net, resulting in a final score of 8-0.
Södertälje FK Ladies demonstrated that they are a team to reckon with in Division 4 by pressuring their opponents from the first to the last minute. BK Sport fought hard but struggled to contend with a home team that was both stronger and more technically skilled.
