In a deserted Skogsvall and without a single spectator in the stands, Hällbybrunns IF U faced Jäders IF in Division 4 Södermanland for women. Referee Abdikarim Abubakar blew the whistle to start the match at 7:15 PM on Monday evening.
Already in the sixteenth minute, Hällbybrunns U broke the deadlock with a clinical performance by Wilma Lund. Two minutes later, Karin Anglenius increased the lead with her goal, and Jäders IF's hopes sank further. With ten minutes left in the first half, Tilde Nyström dealt another blow to Jäders IF's morale by scoring and making it 3-0.
In the second half, Jäders IF looked a bit more lively. In the 52nd minute, Elin Löfving managed to score and gave her teammates hope for a comeback. But once again, Hällbybrunns struck back through Tilde Nyström, who scored her second goal of the match, making it 4-1.
With twenty-one minutes remaining in the match, Angelica Persson further diminished Jäders IF's confidence by scoring two goals in three minutes, making it 5-1 and 6-1. Before the match ended, Victoria Strid also found the back of the net, finalizing the score at 7-1 in favor of Hällbybrunns.
It was a well-played match where Hällbybrunns IF U was dominant and deserved their seven goals. Jäders IF will need to regroup and work hard in the upcoming matches.
