Eskilstuna FC continued their strong start to the season when they faced Ärla IF at Ekängens IP A on Tuesday evening. In front of a crowd of just over 199 people, it was the visitors who began to push forward in the first minutes of the match. However, the home defenders held impressively firm, and it was Eskilstuna who would take the lead in the 66th minute.

Number seven, Herash Azizi, slipped between Ärla's midfield and defense to score 1-0, giving the home team the edge they needed. After the goal, the guests tried to push for an equalizer, but in the 69th minute, Eskilstuna struck again. Kebba Jatta was fouled in the penalty area, and referee Sahban Mouhi pointed to the penalty spot. Jatta stepped up and confidently slotted the penalty into the net to make it 2-0.

After the goal, Ärla continued to try to reduce the deficit, but the Eskilstuna defense remained tight. In the 82nd minute, however, Eskilstuna's Ballin Kamari received a warning, but that did not stop the home team from taking home three points when the referee blew the final whistle after 90 minutes of play. With the win, Eskilstuna now leads the table by nine points ahead of the second-placed team.
