In an exciting match at Stadshagen IP 2, Gimonäs FC faced Mariebergs SK in Division 4 Stockholm Mellersta. In front of an audience of 30 people, Gimonäs dominated from the start and took the lead just three minutes in through Ehsan Fazlhashemi.
Mariebergs responded quickly, with David Hedberg equalizing to 1-1 after 17 minutes. Hedberg then scored his second goal of the evening, giving Mariebergs the lead at 2-1 after 30 minutes of play.
However, Gimonäs showed their fighting spirit, and Pontus Edhholm equalized to 2-2 after 34 minutes. The match became increasingly intense, and both Kevin Forss Nordlund (Mariebergs SK) and Victor Antonsson (Gimonäs FC) received yellow cards before halftime.
In the second half, Niklas Wiberg stepped up for Gimonäs and scored to make it 3-2 in the 64th minute. But Mariebergs wouldn’t back down, and Olof Ringqvist equalized to 3-3 just three minutes later.
Despite several dangerous chances from both teams, the score remained 3-3 when referee Robin Hägg blew the final whistle. A real nail-biter for those present at Stadshagen IP 2, resulting in a fair point split.
