The match between Älta IF and Spårvägens FF at Älta IP 1 was an intense and goal-rich affair in front of an audience of 77 people. Referee Eshaq Ayobi officiated the match with assistance from Hawsar Saadi and Robin Rosén.
It was the away team, Spårvägens FF, who took the lead as early as the fourth minute through Cherno Njie's tenth goal of the season. However, Älta IF responded quickly and equalized through Youssef Riahi in the 23rd minute.
Spårvägens FF regained the lead just before halftime, again through Cherno Njie, who had now scored eleven goals for the season. But Älta IF showed character and managed to equalize again through Philip Ringbom in the 63rd minute.
The match was decided in the 74th minute when Johannes Brantefors scored to make it 3-2 for Älta IF. Despite frantic attempts from both teams, neither could score again, and the match ended 3-2 in favor of the home team, Älta IF.
It was a hard-fought contest with many cautions, including for Älta IF's Waldo Shelton Torres, Stefan Lindqvist, and Youssef Riahi, as well as Spårvägens FF's Cherno Njie. Älta IF's coach Michael Eriksson also received a warning during the match.
Älta IF was ultimately able to celebrate an important victory and three points in their pursuit of a top position in Division 4 Stockholm Södra. Spårvägens FF will return to training to prepare for upcoming challenges.
