Danmarks IF hosted Bälinge IF 2 at Danelid 1 in an exciting match in Division 4 Uppland for women. Despite the absence of spectators, the teams delivered an entertaining match that ended with a victory for the home team, 5-2.
It was Bälinge IF 2 that started the match the strongest and took the lead just five minutes in through Moa Andersson. She then extended the lead to 2-0 after 15 minutes, sending shockwaves through Danmarks IF.
However, the home team showed their fighting spirit and quickly reduced the deficit through Elsa Wolf in the 16th minute. Anna Karlin then equalized to 2-2 in the 26th minute, and Paulina Löf gave Danmarks IF the lead at 3-2 before the halftime break.
In the second half, Danmarks IF continued to dominate, with Anna Leek scoring both the 4-2 and 5-2 goals for the home team. Bälinge IF tried to come back into the match, but Danmarks IF held firm and secured three points.
In the 75th minute, Sandra Salomäki received a yellow card for Danmarks IF, but it did not affect the outcome of the match. Referee Favour Adeola then blew the whistle to end the match, and Danmarks IF could celebrate an important victory at home.
