Håbo FF hosted Heby AIF at Futurum Artificial Turf in an exciting match in Division 4 Uppland. Despite the chilly spring weather, 83 brave spectators made their way to the arena to cheer on their favorite teams.
It was an even first half where both teams created several dangerous goal-scoring opportunities. After 24 minutes of play, Heby AIF's Max Ellström received a yellow card for a tough tackle on a Håbo FF player. Just before the halftime break, Jakob Westling from Heby AIF also received a yellow card for an illegal tackle.
The second half continued at a high tempo with a fierce battle for the ball in midfield. Andreas Norman in Håbo FF attempted to take the ball from a Heby AIF player and received a yellow card from the referee after a hard challenge. After 59 minutes, it was Albin Fange from Heby AIF's turn to receive a yellow card for an illegal tackle.
In the 60th minute, however, Albin Fange received his second yellow card of the match following a tough tackle, resulting in him being sent off the field. With one player less, it became more difficult for Heby AIF to push forward.
In the 69th minute, Håbo FF took the lead 1-0 after Adrian Ant received a great pass in front of goal and put the ball in the net. Heby AIF desperately tried to equalize, but Håbo FF’s defense held firm.
In the first minute of added time, Håbo FF's William Korpi made a great run down the wing and then scored, increasing the lead to 2-0. Heby AIF fought until the end, but the match concluded in a loss for them.
Referee Hannes Öckerman, assisted by Jakob Wahlgren and Daniel Zandian, kept his cool in a tough match and allowed the game to flow well. After the final whistle, Håbo FF celebrated while Heby AIF returned home with a bitter taste in their mouths after losing 2-0.
