Unik FK won a dramatic match in Division 4 Uppland when they defeated Håbo FF 2-1 on Futurum Artificial Turf. The match included several hard tackles, cards, and even two red cards. But it was Unik FK who ultimately emerged victorious, thanks to a late goal in the final minutes.
The match began evenly, with both teams fighting for control. Unik FK received the first yellow card in the 26th minute, after a tough tackle from Ebrahim Tajik. However, it was Håbo FF who took the lead in the 34th minute when Adam Agerfjord scored to make it 1-0.
Unik FK tried to respond before halftime, but it was Håbo FF who continued to create dangerous chances. Nevertheless, Unik FK’s defense held firm, and the halftime score remained unchanged.
In the second half, Unik FK stepped up their tempo and finally found reward in the 70th minute when Philip Södergran equalized to 1-1 with a splendid header. However, the joy was short-lived as Ahmed Ali Ibrahim received a yellow card, and Mario Kigozi Höök was sent off after a tough tackle in the 76th minute.
Despite being reduced to ten men, Unik FK continued to pressure. Håbo FF also took the risk of pushing their players forward, which led to a chaotic situation resulting in a red card for Emil Alexandersson of Håbo FF.
The match seemed destined to end in a draw, but Unik FK had one last chance in the dying minutes and seized it. Ali Khan Hassanzadeh scored the decisive goal, making it 2-1 in the 90+3 minute, and Unik FK could finally breathe a sigh of relief and celebrate an important victory.
110 people were in attendance to witness the match, and referee Meysam Moosavi Ghahfarokhi, along with his assistant referees Ali Alemi and Bjarne Kahler, maintained control well despite the heated match.
