Heby AIF faced Håbo FF today at Vittinge IP 1 in a match that would conclude the season for this year in Division 4 Uppland for the men. In front of an audience of 79 people and with referee Farhad Mirzayi leading the charge, the teams kicked off at 2:00 PM on Sunday.
It took about fifteen minutes from the start of the match for Heby AIF to be the first to hit the scoreboard. Isac Sepulveda scored for the home team, making it 1-0. This goal turned out to be the spark for Heby, who continued to press hard offensively. In the 37th minute, Daniel Sköldehag was able to increase Heby AIF’s lead to 2-0, further strengthening their performance. Just before halftime, a penalty was awarded to Heby AIF, which Linus Klinthammar confidently converted, putting his team ahead 3-0.
In the second half, Håbo FF fought on, trying to get back into the game, but Heby AIF continued to dominate the field and maintain the tempo. However, Mikael Natan Róbertsson was cautioned in the 54th minute for a harsh tackle. The following minute, Håbo FF’s Kevin Karlsson also received a warning from the referee, which would be his first of two for the day.
Karlsson would ultimately be the only one sent off, as he was forced to leave the field in the 71st minute after receiving his second warning in the match. With one man down, Håbo FF fought back and continued to try, but an offensive machine like Heby AIF was difficult to contend with today. In the 73rd minute, Liam Agerfjord of Håbo FF was also cautioned for a hard challenge.
As stoppage time approached, it became clear that Heby AIF won the match 3-0 after a clean, clear, and well-deserved victory. The end of the season also concluded the table, where Heby AIF finished 6th and Håbo FF ended up 7th in Division 4 Uppland for the men.
