On Saturday afternoon, Mariehem SK and Gimonäs Umeå IF faced off at home at MSK Arena in front of an empty stadium.
The match started well for Gimonäs Umeå IF, who took the lead with a goal from Oskar Ivars just eleven minutes in. Mariehem struggled to breach Gimonäs' defense and instead had to defend against their attacks. Toward the end of the match, Mariehem was awarded a penalty which Filip Lapveteläinen converted, but it only served as a consolation, and the match ended 4-1 in favor of Gimonäs Umeå IF.
It was clearly a dominant performance by Gimonäs, who managed to take advantage of most of the chances they got. The referees Alexander Nordlund, Vilhelm Burström, and Anja Collén maintained a good level throughout the match.
