Brovallen was packed when Obbola-Holmsund took on Gimonäs Umeå IF in a heated match in Division 4 Västerbotten Södra. Already after four minutes of play, Joakim Lindberg struck and made it 1-0 for Obbola-Holmsund with a neat headed goal.
Obbola-Holmsund continued to dominate the match and in the 38th minute Lindberg was able to score his second goal of the evening and increase the lead to 2-0. Gimonäs Umeå IF received two warnings before half-time, one to Omar Alshiekhkhalil and one to Joel Evrard Mugisha.
In the second half, Obbola-Holmsund continued to keep the pressure up and in the 57th minute Eric Rönnholm was able to make it 3-0 with another headed goal. In the 64th minute, Hugo Brännström increased the lead to 4-0 with a well-placed shot.
Gimonäs Umeå IF fought on and in the 68th minute Thomas Tah Abah managed to make it 4-1. Obbola-Holmsund then got another goal in the 77th minute when Axel Johansson scored 5-1. Gimonäs Umeå IF managed to reduce in the 79th minute when Fnan Bahta Tewelde made it 5-2, but it was too late to catch up with Obbola-Holmsund.
The match thus ended with a clear victory for Obbola-Holmsund with 5-2. It was a well-played match from Obbola-Holmsund's side and although Gimonäs Umeå IF fought on, it was not enough against a strong home team. Referee Henric Arvidsson, assisted by Stefan Lindmark and Anja Collén, also kept a steady hand over the match and prevented major incidents.
