It was a one-sided match between Gimonäs Umeå IF and Täfteå/Ersmark 2 at Ålidhem Arena on Sunday evening in Division 4 Västerbotten South.
Gimonäs Umeå IF dominated the match from start to finish, winning by an impressive score of 12-0 after a fantastic performance on the field. Already in the 19th minute, Johannes Pettersson scored the first goal for Gimonäs, and the team continued to dominate for the rest of the match.
In the 30th minute, Omar Alshiekhkhalil extended the lead to 2-0 with a fine individual effort. Anton Ruusila added to the lead in the 36th minute before Johannes Pettersson scored his second goal in the 40th minute.
The second half started with a bang for Gimonäs as Omar Alshiekhkhalil scored his second goal in the 47th minute. Just a few minutes later, he had netted his third goal and established himself as the hero of the match.
Thomas Tah Abah then increased the lead in the 57th minute before Täfteå/Ersmark 2 received their first yellow card of the match for a tough tackle by Yoftae Abel Tesfaye.
Gimonäs continued to dominate the match, and in the 74th minute, Omar Alshiekhkhalil scored his fourth goal of the evening. Isak Kelab Hailekiel then made it 9-0 in the 82nd minute before Omar Alshiekhkhalil capped off his scoring with his fifth and final goal of the match in the 86th minute.
Isak Kelab Hailekiel also got his second goal of the match in the 88th minute before Enrico Gentili scored the only penalty of the match in the 90th minute, and Gimonäs Umeå IF ultimately won by a staggering 12-0.
Overall, it was a fantastic performance by Gimonäs Umeå IF, showcasing impressive attacking play and solid defense, while Täfteå/Ersmark 2 never really got into the match. It was certainly a delightful soccer match at Ålidhem Arena in front of an audience of 73 people. Referee Pierluigi Meucci officiated the match excellently, along with assistant referees Viktor Jonsson and Jimmy Viström.
