In an exciting match at Mjölevallen, Sörmjöle IK and Höjdens BK met in Division 4 Västerbotten Södra. Despite a small audience of 53 people, a great atmosphere was created in the stands.
The match started evenly with both teams creating chances forward. After an intense first half, it was finally Sörmjöle IK who got the payoff when Albin Elfving shot the ball into the net and gave his team the 1-0 lead in the 37th minute.
In the second half Höjdens BK continued to fight and in the 62nd minute Edvin Helmersson equalized for his team with a nice header. But the joy was short-lived for Höjdens BK when Hassan Yawari received his second yellow card and was sent off in the 64th minute.
Sörmjöle IK took advantage of the numerical advantage and in the 81st minute Elias Hägglund gave the team a 2-1 lead. Höjdens BK tried to chase an equalizer, but instead Erik Liljestrand managed to extend Sörmjöle IK's lead to 3-1 in the 88th minute.
The referee then blew the whistle and Sörmjöle IK could celebrate an important victory at home. A fighting effort by both teams but it was Sörmjöle IK who took home three points after the final score 3-1.
