In the fourth round of Division 4 Västerbotten Södra, an exciting match was played between Sörfors IF and Gimonäs Umeå IF at Älvdungen A. The match began as expected with a high tempo and aggressive play from both teams. Referee Vilhelm Burström had full control of the situation and maintained good discipline on the field.
Already after 23 minutes, Gimonäs took the lead when Isak Kelab Hailekiel scored from a penalty. Just three minutes later, Omar Alshiekhkhalil converted another penalty for Gimonäs, increasing their lead to 2-0. Sörfors fought back, and after a nice pass from Johan Janzén, Emil Holm reduced the deficit to 2-1 in the 38th minute. Just five minutes later, Emil Holm equalized after a fine combination with Emil Öhman.
In the second half, the game remained even between the teams, but Gimonäs showed why they are a top team in the league. Oskar Ivars scored his first goal of the match in the 58th minute, and just two minutes later he added a penalty goal, giving the team a two-goal lead.
Later in the match, Omar Alshiekhkhalil scored Gimonäs' fifth goal, which also became his second goal of the match. Despite some pressure from Sörfors, the team could not convert any more goals, and the match ended 5-2 in favor of Gimonäs Umeå IF.
It was a well-played match where Gimonäs demonstrated why they have been one of the best teams in the league in recent years. Sörfors also put in a good performance but could not match Gimonäs' power play in the second half. The match was attended by a total of 35 people and it was a satisfying experience for the audience.
