It was a autumnal Saturday afternoon at Skogsvallen when Sävar IK faced Sörfors IF in Division 4 Västerbotten South. Unfortunately, the teams played before an empty arena as there were no spectators present. The referee for the match was Magnus Furberg.
The match started intensely and early in the first half, Sävar IK scored the first goal through a header from Linus Mann in the twelfth minute. Just two minutes later, Viktor Nordenhäll extended the home team's lead with a well-placed shot that found the net.
Sörfors IF worked hard to come back and managed to reduce the deficit with a goal from Oskar Riby in the eighteenth minute. Sävar's Patrik Brunner received a yellow card in the forty-third minute and Elias Nilsson in the fifty-fifth minute.
Sävar IK struck back in the second half, and Anton Sandström increased the lead with his goal in the sixty-eighth minute. Sävar's Anton Sandström was cautioned in the seventy-second minute, but it did not stop the team from continuing to fight.
Sörfors IF did not give up, and when Lukas Kjellgren scored in the seventy-eighth minute, it set the stage for an exciting finish to the match. Unfortunately for Sörfors IF, it was not enough to turn the match around, and Sävar IK won 3-2.
After the match, it was clear that the season was over for both teams. Sävar IK finished in ninth place in the table and Sörfors IF in eighth place. Despite this, it was an intense match where both teams fought hard for victory.
