It was an exciting match between Skara FC and Mellby IK at Sparbanken Arena A. Despite an early press from Mellby IK, they managed to score not just one, but two goals through Ida Ulfengren Lindberg and Saga Lidström, taking a 2-0 lead early in the match.

However, Skara FC quickly fought back, reducing the score to 1-2 through Sofia Jonsson just one minute after Mellby’s second goal. Then Elin Perisic managed to equalize to 2-2 before halftime.

The second half was just as thrilling, with Skara FC taking the lead 3-2 through Anna Pettersson in the 72nd minute. It wasn’t long before Pettersson scored her second goal of the match, extending the lead to 4-2 with only 14 minutes left in the game.

Mellby IK did not give up and pushed for a reduction, which they eventually accomplished through Åsa Svensson in the 88th minute. Despite an intense final push from Mellby IK, they were unable to net another goal, and the match ended 4-3 in favor of Skara FC.
