It was a lovely Sunday afternoon at Västerby IP A-plan when Götene IF faced Sils IF in Division 4 Västergötland Norra. The audience was present and ready for an exciting match.

Referee Albin Wrångemyr blew the whistle to start the match, and both teams immediately showed that they meant business. Götene IF took the lead just 13 minutes in when Markus Dahlin received the ball and placed it safely in the net. Sils IF tried to respond but struggled to create any real goal-scoring opportunities.

Instead, Götene IF extended their lead before halftime. Johan Apell received the ball just outside the penalty area and shot it beautifully into the goal. Sils IF had several players who received warnings in the first half, which made it difficult for them to play their game.

The second half started with warnings for Sils IF's Edvin Österberg and Johan Granat. Götene IF continued to play well and scored their third goal of the match when Markus Dahlin was again in the right place at the right time.

Sils IF fought hard but were unable to score. The match ended 3-0 in favor of Götene IF, who looked really strong today. Sils IF will need to regroup for their next match to seek redemption and aim for a victory.
