It was an exciting match played between Sandareds IF and Skepplanda BTK on Sunday afternoon. In front of an audience of zero at Sandevi B artificial turf, the match kicked off at 16:00. Assistant referees Berbir Teljigovic and Adnan Domani assisted referee Mattias Holmdahl in ensuring the match proceeded smoothly.
Skepplanda BTK started the match strongest and, just 7 minutes in, they were awarded a penalty. Emil Fri converted the penalty confidently, giving Skepplanda a 1-0 lead. Skepplanda continued to pressure Sandareds in the first half, and after 15 minutes of play, Anton Zetterlund doubled the lead to 2-0 with a nice goal.
However, Sandareds IF fought their way back into the match, and after 25 minutes, Musa M'Benga reduced the score to 2-1. Sandareds continued to press Skepplanda but were unable to find the equalizer. Instead, both teams received one warning each before the referee blew the whistle for halftime.
The second half continued at the same pace as the first. Both teams fought hard and were penalized with warnings. Sandareds had several good scoring chances but failed to equalize. The match grew increasingly intense, and in the final minute, both Sandareds' Daniel Sijan and Skepplanda's Mattias Johansson received warnings.
When the referee blew the final whistle, it was clear that Skepplanda BTK had won the match 2-1, despite Sandareds' hard struggle for an equalizer. Sandareds currently sits in 9th place in the standings, while Skepplanda BTK is in 4th place.
