Wargöns IK continued their impressive form as they hosted Trollhättans FK at Hallevi IP in a Division 4 Västergötland Västra match. In front of an enthusiastic crowd of 241, it was the home team that proved to be the stronger side.

Trollhättans FK started with a tough attitude, which resulted in Oscar Mauritzson receiving an early yellow card after 19 minutes. Wargöns responded immediately with a yellow card for Jonathan Lengyel just a few minutes later.

It was Niklas Andersson who opened the scoring for Wargöns in the 29th minute. It seemed like the home team was on their way to a comfortable victory. But Trollhättans FK had other plans and managed to equalize in the 35th minute with a fine strike from Fredrik Sundström.

After the break, Wargöns took the lead again, this time through Felix Wassenius. However, Trollhättans FK fought back and once again managed to equalize. Unfortunately for the visitors, it was an own goal that gave them the long-awaited leveler.

As the match was nearing its end, it was Eric Nylander who led the way for Wargöns IK, scoring the winning goal in the 76th minute. It was a much-needed goal for the home team, which had been pushing hard for a while.

Referee Albin Wrångemyr faced a tough task in keeping order during the game, resulting in a number of yellow cards. Niklas Andersson, who scored the first goal for Wargöns, received a yellow card, and Eric Nylander also got a yellow card later in the match. Trollhättans FK received two yellow cards in the final minutes, one for Casper Eriksson and one for Oscar Edh.

With this victory, Wargöns IK sits in second place in the table while Trollhättans FK is in eighth place. It was an incredibly exciting match at Hallevi IP that showcased Wargöns IK as a team to reckon with in this season's Division 4 Västergötland Västra.
