It was an intense match at Bohedsvallen when Undroms IF faced Långsele AIF in Division 5 Ångermanland on Friday night. 126 spectators watched the match, where referee Eugeniu Samson led the game with assistance from Peter Johansson Skyttner and Nils Engberg.
After 25 minutes of play, Undroms IF scored the first goal. Number 14, Hjalmar Sammelin, managed to outsmart Långsele's keeper and put the first ball in the net, giving the home team a 1-0 lead.
Undrom continued to control the match and scored another goal just two minutes into the second half when William Norlén hit the ball after a nice pass. The atmosphere at Bohedsvallen was at its peak after the goal, and the home team seemed to be on their way to a comfortable victory.
But Långsele did not give up. After receiving a series of free kicks and corners during the match, they managed to reduce the score to 2-1 when Philip Räihä hit the ball into the crossbar in the 91st minute.
However, the match did not get more dramatic than that, even though a number of yellow cards were handed out during the game. Undrom's Johan Carlsson actually received two of them, leading to his dismissal in stoppage time.
The result ended up being 2-1 in favor of the home team. Undroms IF thanked the audience for their support and celebrated their victory with cheerful waving of arms on the field. They can now prepare for their next match, while Långsele will have to find new ways to win in the upcoming games.
