At Bondsjöhöjdens IP, BIK Fotboll faced Undroms IF in an important match in Division 5 Ångermanland Playoffs. In front of a relatively modest crowd of 51 people, the match kicked off at 7:00 PM on a Monday evening. Referee Alve Engelbrektsson and his assistants Oscar Lindström and Nils Engberg were in charge on the field.
It was Undroms IF who took the lead at the beginning of the match, with a goal from Joel Åman just one minute in. BIK Fotboll tried to respond but instead fell behind when Åman scored another goal for Undroms after 27 minutes of play.
However, BIK Fotboll was not going to give up easily. Mohamad Zamil Saleban Deria reduced the deficit to 1-2 after 31 minutes played, which gave the team new energy. Four minutes later, Jack Persson received a warning, but that did not prevent Vincent Karlsson from equalizing to 2-2 just before halftime.
In the second half, BIK Fotboll completely took over the match thanks to an unstoppable Deria, who scored his second goal of the evening and led his team to a 3-2 advantage after an hour of play.
Undroms IF again attempted to get back into the match, but it would not be until the 90th minute that Jesper Strömberg could save a point for his team by making it 3-3.
Although neither team could secure victory by the final whistle, it was a well-played match that demonstrated that both teams were capable of fine football. BIK Fotboll will now need to recover and prepare for upcoming challenges in Division 5 Ångermanland Playoffs.
