It was an uneven match between AIK Atlas and IFK Karlshamn U at Havsvallen last Friday evening. AIK Atlas took the lead after just 13 minutes, with Andreas Svensson making a nice finish and putting the ball in the net. IFK Karlshamn U struggled to get into the game, and AIK Atlas dominated the field significantly.
After 26 minutes, it was time again for Andreas Svensson to find the net, increasing AIK Atlas's lead to 2-0. Just before halftime, things got even worse for the guests when Mattias Lindau scored, and Anton Augustsson replicated the feat just a few minutes later, making it 4-0 to AIK Atlas when the referee blew for halftime.
Immediately after the break, IFK Karlshamn U was reduced to ten men when Charlie Melander was sent off. But it would get worse for the guests as Leo Jönsson also received a red card. IFK Karlshamn U struggled to retain possession, and AIK Atlas continued to apply pressure.
With a quarter of an hour left in the match, Khalid Ajaji received a warning, and a few minutes later, IFK Karlshamn U's coach Alex Persson was also cautioned. But it did not help the team, as they received another red card when the coach eventually left the sidelines.
AIK Atlas ultimately won the match 5-0 and celebrated three important points in front of a completely empty stand, while IFK Karlshamn U went home with their tails between their legs after a heavy defeat.
