Märserums IF showcased their class when they hosted Vilshults IF at home in Division 5 Blekinge, men's football. Already in the 15th minute, Julius Olsson found the back of the net, scoring the first goal in favor of Märserums. He continued to impress, netting the second and fourth goals in the 19th and 26th minutes.
Hugo Ingvarsson also made his mark by scoring Märserums' third and fifth goals in the 23rd and 28th minutes. Not stopping there, he added two more goals in the 50th and 79th minutes, achieving an impressive hat trick.
Märserums’ defense held firm, and Vilshults’ attempts at goal were few and far from dangerous. However, Vilshults eventually managed to score after a surprising own goal from Märserums in the 68th minute, but that did not wake them up.
Herman Hällsén scored the tenth goal in the 70th minute, which was just the beginning of a truly dark evening for Vilshults. Henrik Nilsson and Hugo Ingvarsson added two more goals in the 78th and 79th minutes, while Julius Olsson capped off the match with his third goal in the 89th minute. Märserums IF thus won the match with an impressive scoreline of 14-0.
Referee Arsim Gashi and his assistants Mukhammad Khisamov and Ahmed Othman Azeez did a good job on the field. Unfortunately, no supporters made it to Märserums IP on this Friday evening, which was a shame as those who missed the match truly missed something spectacular from Märserums IF.
