Hulåns IF secured an important victory in Division 5 Dalarna as they defeated Fors IK 3-1 at home. The match was played at Hulåns IP in front of an empty stand, but that did not stop the teams from delivering an entertaining game.
Just three minutes into the match, the visitors took the lead with a splendid shot from Wilmer Edh Eriksson. Fors IK continued to dominate play during the first few minutes, but Hulåns IF eventually found their footing and created several dangerous situations.
In the 12th minute, the home team was awarded a free kick in the penalty area, and Simon Stam equalized to 1-1 from the penalty spot. Hulåns IF continued to press, and in the 41st minute, they took the lead with a beautiful goal from Befeker Sisay.
Just two minutes into the second half, Sisay scored his second goal of the night, giving the home team a comfortable lead of 3-1. However, Fors IK did not concede defeat and continued to create chances going forward.
In the 58th minute, one of Hulåns IF's players, Hassan Sakhizada, received a yellow card after a tough challenge. Fors IK's Viktor Lyckman also received a yellow card in the 69th minute for a hard tackle.
Despite the visitors' perseverance, Hulåns IF managed to hold on and secure three points. The victory pushes them up to fourth place in Division 5 Dalarna, while Fors IK continues to seek their first win of the season. The referee Avni Muratovski and his assistants Leo Wahrén Tenn and Mohamud Osman Dhegnas can be satisfied with a well-executed match, even though the audience unfortunately could not experience it in person.
