With the kick-off, Tösse IF went out at full speed at Tössevallen and after only 12 minutes they took the lead through a header by Mohammad Mobarak Chihadeh. The home crowd cheered and the atmosphere was high in the stands. Håfreströms IF tried to respond but it was difficult against a strong defense from Tösse IF. But just before the half-time break, Besart Shenaraj in Håfreströms IF managed to equalize and make the numbers 1-1.
The second half offered hard play from both teams, but it was Tösse IF that had the most scoring chances. In the 62nd minute, Tommie Magnusson managed to tear up Håfreströms IF's defense and put the ball in the net. Tösse IF thus took the lead with 2-1 and there was a nervous atmosphere in the stands because Håfreströms IF had several chances to equalise.
Referee Benny Berntsson also handed out a warning to Håfreströms IF's Taghi Mohammadi after a hard tackle. But despite several attempts from Håfreströms IF, they failed to get the ball in and the match finally ended with a 2-1 victory for Tösse IF.
