At Bergslätts IP A-plan, Eds FF Team 2 faced off against IF Viken Team 2 in an exciting match in Division 5 Dalsland for men. Despite there being no audience present, both teams gave their all on the field.
The match started well for Eds FF Team 2, which quickly took the lead just one minute into the game, with Joel Sundberg scoring a header. The team continued to press, and only ten minutes later, Christoffer Engkvist scored to increase the lead to 2-0.
However, IF Viken Team 2 quickly responded, and a well-executed play led to a goal by Emil Lindqvist in the 24th minute, reducing the deficit. But Eds FF was able to extend their lead again to 3-1 after a penalty kick that Björn Hedkrok converted in the 33rd minute.
Just before halftime, Hedkrok found the net again, increasing the lead to 4-1.
The second half began as well as the first for Eds FF Team 2, and Hedkrok completed a real hat trick in the 47th minute, sealing the final score at 5-1.
After the match, Eds FF Team 2 remained in 6th place in the table, while IF Viken Team 2 still sat second to last. This was the last meeting of the year, and both teams can now look forward to the upcoming season to try to improve even further.
