Surte IS FK and Floda BoIF faced each other at Surte 1 Grass in an exciting Division 5 Göteborg A match on Friday night. 250 supporters had gathered to watch the teams compete in a truly tough match. Referee Roman Gaydur was responsible for maintaining order on the pitch, assisted by Mustafa Al-Asadi and Fidel Shiba.
After just 10 minutes of the match, Surte IS FK broke through Floda BoIF's defense, and Rikard Nylander shot the ball into Floda BoIF's goal, giving Surte a 1-0 lead.
Shortly before the half-hour mark, Surte IS FK had the chance to extend their lead when Robin Bozrgpour stepped up to take a penalty, but his attempt was saved by Floda's goalkeeper.
In the 42nd minute, Floda's attack exploded towards Surte's goal, and Noah Ray put the ball in the net. The score was then 1-1.
Just four minutes into the second half, Surte IS FK managed to regain the lead, this time through Christoffer Larsson. With a score of 2-1, the intensity of the match increased, and the players continued to fight hard.
Robin Bozrgpour from Surte IS FK received a warning in the 66th minute for breaking the rules. In the 75th minute, Noah Ray from Floda BoIF executed an elegant maneuver and then passed the ball past the Surte IS FK goalkeeper and shot it into the net. A fantastic effort that brought Floda BoIF to a 2-2 draw.
In the closing minutes of the match, both teams continued to press on, but unfortunately, there was nothing more to be done. Filip Anvin from Floda BoIF received a warning in the 86th minute for tough play. Martin Larsson from Surte IS FK also received a warning in the 87th minute for stepping on his opponent.
The match between Surte IS FK and Floda BoIF ended in a draw, and both teams can be pleased with their performance. Although neither team managed to win, it looks like there will be a tough battle for the rest of the Division 5 Göteborg A season.
