It was a lovely Friday evening when Kareby IS hosted Kode IF at home on Kareby Hed in Division 5 Gothenburg A, men's. In front of an audience of 430 and with referee Aubil Mario, along with assistant referees Deniz Yapisan and Yacqub Ahmed, the match could finally begin.

Kareby IS was the first to take the lead in the match after 26 minutes, when number 11, Hugo Backman, managed to find the net and score a goal. Kode IF tried to find their way back into the match, but their coach, Kristoffer Dennerbrant, received a warning in the 35th minute for his protests against a decision.

In the second half, Kareby IS would once again show their strength. In the 62nd minute, number 29, Robert Nordström Vasquez, scored a goal to make it 2-0 for the home team. Kode IF continued to fight, but they could not regain control of the match, and in the 74th minute, Jonathan Thebrin Olsson was sent off after receiving his second yellow card.

Kareby IS held on to their lead, and in the 83rd minute, Erik Andreasson scored to make it 3-0 for the home team. Kode IF's coach, Kristoffer Dennerbrant, was also sent off after being cautioned twice earlier in the match.

When the final whistle blew, Kareby IS was the winner with a score of 3-0 at home. A well-played match by the home team, who managed to secure three much-needed points in Division 5 Gothenburg A, men's.
