Despite high expectations from the home crowd and a leading position in the table, it turned out to be a tough and even match between BK Viljan and Frillesås FF. With only 54 people present at Fagervi, it seemed like a quiet and calm Thursday evening, but that was soon to change.
BK Viljan started strong and pressured Frillesås FF. Joel Hallberg received a yellow card in the 27th minute. However, it was BK Viljan who would be the first to get on the scoreboard, with a goal from Noel Karlsson in the 47th minute giving them the lead.
Frillesås FF, however, did not lose hope and fought their way back into the match. Albin Julin scored a perfect goal to equalize the match in the 54th minute. Fredrik Brandin even put the away team ahead with a goal in the 71st minute.
BK Viljan did not give up, though, and Noa Hallberg equalized again in the 80th minute, just five minutes after receiving a yellow card himself. The match was now level and neither side wanted to give in. The last minutes were tense with two yellow cards for Frillesås FF, one to Adam Bohlin in the 87th minute and another to assistant coach Andreas Sandklef in the 88th minute.
Despite numerous chances and a strong effort from both teams, the match ended in a 2-2 draw after 90 intense minutes. BK Viljan retains the lead in the standings, while Frillesås FF will continue to fight to climb the table. It was a fair match with many thrilling moments, where both players and spectators gave their all.
