It was a well-attended and eventful match at Vapnö IP 1 when the home team Vapnö IF faced IF Centern in Division 5 Halland South for men. In front of 130 spectators, referee Tobias Bergstrand kicked off the match on Saturday afternoon.
Just seven minutes into the game, the visiting team from IF Centern received their first warning when Hugo Bengtsson received a yellow card. A couple of minutes later, however, they took the lead when Isak Persson managed to put the ball in the net, giving his team a 1-0 lead.
After just over half an hour of play, IF Centern would run into trouble again when both Isak Persson and assistant coach Niklas Andersson received yellow cards. Vapnö IF picked up a warning just before half-time, and the score at the break was 1-0 in favor of IF Centern.
The second half started better for the home team, and after 65 minutes of play, Hugo Neborg equalized for Vapnö IF. After that, the game became evenly matched and exciting, but it was the home team that took the lead when Imad Cibo scored to make it 2-1 in the 77th minute.
IF Centern, however, fought back, and after 80 minutes, Axel Ekström equalized to 2-2. Just a minute later, Vapnö IF received their second warning and lost a player when Fabian Kindbom Nanfeldt was shown a red card.
The match ended in a draw, 2-2, and the closing minutes were marked by several warnings for both teams and a sending-off for the home team. The spectators were treated to an entertaining match with a lot of tough play, and it was somewhat surprising that neither team could take home all three points.
