But Kilafors IF responded with a goal from Johan Jansson just before the halftime break, making the score 2-1 in favor of Bjuråkers GIF.
The second half started promisingly for Kilafors IF, but Bjuråkers GIF held firm long enough for Apisak Amnakkamat to score the team's third goal in the 76th minute.
Kilafors IF desperately tried to find the net once more and only received a warning for coach Reine Wennstig in the 87th minute. Despite attempts to reduce Bjuråkers GIF's lead, the home team maintained their position and secured three much-needed points.
