Svartviks IP was the host for an exciting match in Division 5 Medelpad men's league this evening. Svartviks IF faced Södermalm FF in front of a crowd of 150 spectators. The referees for tonight's match were Henrik Olsson, with Samuel Sundling and Fnan Mebrhatu Tewelde as assistant referees.
The match started with high intensity, and already in the seventh minute, Södermalm FF managed to outsmart the home team with a goal from Christer Eriksson, putting the score at 0-1. Ten minutes later, Eriksson received a yellow card from the referee.
In the 37th minute, Södermalm FF received another warning, this time to Tobias Lundström. Just before halftime, Svartviks IF was awarded a penalty which was expertly converted by Daniel Andersson Johansson, leveling the score at 1-1.
Shortly thereafter, Lundström's opponent, Jonas Wiklund, received a yellow card, as did Henrik Svanström for the home team.
In the 72nd minute, Hampus Andersson scored to make it 2-1 for Svartviks IF, and only a minute later, another goal came from Lowe Skoglund, lifting the home team's spirits with a score of 3-1.
Södermalm FF continued to try, but received yet another yellow card, this time for Bo Göran Sundqvist in the 79th minute. Shortly thereafter, the home team also received a warning when Johansson was cautioned in the 80th minute. However, this did not stop Svartviks IF, who in the 81st minute extended the score to 4-1 with a brilliant performance from Johansson for his second goal of the evening.
Södermalm FF desperately tried to get back into the match, but it was not enough. In the 87th minute, Felix Thunholm scored to make it 5-1, sealing the match.
The match ended with a decisive victory for the home team, Svartviks IF, with a score of 5-1. The evening featured a competent refereeing performance by Henrik Olsson, but it was Svartviks IF who delivered what was needed to achieve success.
