Stöde IF welcomed Sundsvalls FF at home, in front of an audience of 70 people. The referee for the match was Seyed Mohammad Hosseini, assisted by Farhad Taherian and Abdullatif Al-Barawy.
The match started evenly with chances for both sides, but it was Stöde IF that would score the first goal of the match. After 15 minutes on the clock, Christian Sjöberg received the ball in the penalty area and sent off a shot that found its way into the away goal. Sundsvalls FF tried to fight their way back into the match but struggled to create opportunities.
The second half started as evenly as the first, but just under a minute into the second half, Stöde IF was awarded a penalty which Fredrik Hammarlund confidently placed into the top corner. 2-0 to the home team. But Sundsvalls FF didn’t give up, and after 54 minutes Oskar Magnusson reduced the score to 2-1 with a beautiful header.
Stöde IF continued to create chances, and after an hour of play, Rasmus Mattsson received a yellow card for a tough tackle. But that did not stop the home team, who continued to press. After 73 minutes, Filip Bergman increased the score to 3-1 for Stöde IF.
Sundsvalls FF kept fighting but had difficulty regaining control of the game. In the 78th minute, Maxwell Osadolor received a yellow card, and the home team continued to apply pressure. Finally, in the 90th minute, Axel Peder Westland received the ball and placed it in the open goal for 4-1, securing three important points for Stöde IF.
The match ended 4-1 in favor of Stöde IF after a strong performance. Sundsvalls FF fought hard, but it wasn’t enough to make a comeback. Now both teams look forward to their next meeting in Division 5 Medelpad, men’s.
