A really exciting match was played at Baldershovs IP in Sundsvall on Sunday evening when the home team Sundsvalls FF faced the visiting Söråkers FF. Despite a rather small crowd of 50 people, those present were treated to an entertaining match with a multitude of scoring opportunities and goals.
Sundsvalls FF started the match strongest and took the lead just four minutes in through Pontus Serrander. After that, the home team was clearly the better side, creating several dangerous chances. After 37 minutes, they extended their lead to 2-0 through Axel Lindfors.
However, Söråkers FF was not ready to give up; they reduced the score to 2-1 with a goal from Tommi Torvela just before halftime. At the beginning of the second half, Sundsvalls FF increased their lead again through Albin Argård. But Söråkers FF continued to fight, and a quarter of an hour into the half, they scored again, this time through Filip Petré Oskarsson.
With 20 minutes left to play, Erik Swedin made it 4-2 for Sundsvalls FF, and many thought the match was decided. However, Söråkers FF had other ideas, and with five minutes remaining, they once again reduced the lead, now through Johan Kolbäck.
The final minutes were really thrilling as Söråkers FF pressed hard for an equalizer, but it just wouldn't happen for them, and the match ended 4-3 in favor of Sundsvalls FF. Referee Anton Adra had a good match and maintained good control of the game along with his assistant referees Bashir Yahye Ibrahim and Abdulahi Shino.
