Pålbsboda GoIF hosted HOIF at their home ground, Pålsboda IP, in front of unfortunately a rather sparse crowd with 0 spectators in attendance. The referee for the evening was Visar Xhemshiti and the match kicked off at 19:00 on Thursday evening.
The match started intensely, and already in the 16th minute, Pålsboda took the lead through Naser Toukhi, which held up halfway into the first half.
However, HOIF fought back and managed to equalize with a penalty scored by Roby Stannisson in the 37th minute. The first half concluded with a warning issued to Mattias Sjölinder from HOIF.
In the second half, Pålsboda took control of the match and increased the pace. Emra Tahirovic from Pålsboda received a yellow card in the 63rd minute, but this did not stop him from achieving an impressive hat trick. He scored two goals in rapid succession in the 64th and 68th minutes and then capped it off with his third goal in the 71st minute.
During the rest of the match, Oscar Olovsson from HOIF also received a yellow card, but despite some chances for both teams, the match ended 4-1 in favor of Pålsboda GoIF when the referee blew the final whistle. An impressive performance by Emra Tahirovic, who scored all the goals for his team and secured the victory for Pålsboda.
