Hägerstads IF provided an entertaining match at home on Ekvallen as they faced Kimstad GoIF in a late evening match in Division 5 Östergötland Mellersta on Wednesday. After a tough start, visiting Kimstad took the lead in the 12th minute of the match with Liam Ekeroth's well-placed shot. The home team fought back and managed to equalize quickly, as Tim Bergström found the net for Hägerstad just five minutes later.
The second half began with a high tempo from the home team, and in the 54th minute, Bergström scored his second goal of the night with a fine lob over the Kimstad goalkeeper. Bergström continued to showcase his great form as he scored his third goal just minutes later.

Towards the end of the match, Kimstad managed to score their third goal following a nice kick-in from Jonathan Lilja. Unfortunately for the visitors, it wasn't enough to secure any points, and the match ended 4-3 in favor of Hägerstads IF.
In summary, it was a well-played match with many scoring opportunities. Despite a questionable performance from the home team's defense, Hägerstads IF claimed an important victory on home soil. The crowd at Ekvallen, which consisted of only 54 people, was also satisfied with what they witnessed on the pitch. The next match for both teams will take place this weekend, with Hägerstads IF hosting Söderköpings IK and Kimstad GoIF facing IFK Norrköping at their home arena.
