It was an exciting match between Linghems SK and Kimstad GoIF at Gripvallen on Saturday afternoon. Both teams fought hard for victory, but in the end, it was Kimstad GoIF who took home three points on the road.
The match began with an early goal from Linghems SK, as Gustav Engberg scored 1-0 in the 29th minute. Kimstad GoIF tried to push for an equalizer and got a chance when Noah Jacobsson received a yellow card in the 37th minute. Kimstad GoIF continued to battle, and in the 53rd minute, Oskar Treffler Jonsson scored to make it 1-1.
The game heated up when William Welander received his first yellow card in the 56th minute, and just a minute later, Nikki Hunter scored 2-1 for Linghems SK. Unfortunately, it became more difficult for Linghems SK after Robin Edgar received his second yellow card and was sent off in the 58th minute.
Kimstad GoIF continued to press on, and in the 89th minute, Jonathan Lilja managed to equalize to 2-2. The match was then decided in the last minute of play when Oskar Treffler Jonsson scored his second goal, turning the game around for Kimstad GoIF to 2-3.
It was a tough match, and referee Gabriel Sag had his hands full keeping track of the game. The audience at Gripvallen was engaged from start to finish and created a wonderful atmosphere despite only 100 people being present. Kimstad GoIF could head home with a much-needed victory, while Linghems SK will need to regroup for their next match.
