It was a lovely Saturday afternoon at the Fastighetsteknik Arena when Division 5 Östergötland Mellersta teams Vånga IF and Björsäters SK faced off. A crowd of 69 people had gathered at the arena to witness this exciting match, and the referee team consisted of Lucas Tomas, Ghassan Tomas, and Ricky-Junior Karitunze.
The match began with high intensity, and it was Vånga IF that took the lead after 27 minutes. Jonathan Poikela shot the ball into the net after a nice attack. But Björsäters SK responded quickly, and just two minutes later, Alaa Najeeb equalized to 1-1 with a well-placed shot.
Björsäters SK continued to press, and after 33 minutes, it was Abedalhkeem Najeeb who managed to put the ball in the net, giving the away team a 1-2 lead. However, Vånga IF was not going to give up easily, and just before halftime, after a nice cross from Gustaf Nygren, he managed to equalize to 2-2.
The second half also started with high tempo and emotions, when Emil Öhr from Vånga IF received a yellow card for a tough tackle. Björsäters SK also received a warning when David Lindgren was shown a yellow card.
But it was Vånga IF that would have the last word in the match. After an hour of play, it was once again Jonathan Poikela who found the net, scoring his second goal of the match and giving Vånga IF a 3-2 lead. Despite several half-chances for the away team, Björsäters SK could not score, and the match ended in a victory for the home team.
Vånga IF had several cautions during the match, with Dick Sverker also receiving a second yellow card for his earlier warning. Kristoffer Öhrn also received a yellow card in the 69th minute.
It was a well-played match where both teams showcased good football, but Vånga IF ultimately managed to pull off the win, finishing with a score of 3-2.
