In a completely empty Åsundavallen, Rimforsa IF B met Skeninge IK in an exciting match in Division 5 Östergötland West for men. Referee Peres Rozbayani took position in the middle of the field, assisted by Yahye Mahamed Sabriye and Adis Cejvan.
The match started with a quick kick-off for Rimforsa, and in the 5th minute, Elias Kujansuu scored 1-0 for the home team. However, Skeninge IK did not give up, and just before halftime, they were rewarded when Isak Johansson put the ball in the net to equalize at 1-1.
After the break, Rimforsa continued to be the stronger team, and in the 57th minute, they took the lead again when Axel Svärd scored to make it 2-1. Tim Anspach from Rimforsa received a warning in the 70th minute, but four minutes later, Qalid Adan Haji increased the home team’s lead to 3-1.
Skeninge IK, however, was not going to give up, and in the 78th minute, Olle Torbjörnsson Åkerblad reduced the score to 3-2. Just two minutes later, in the 80th minute, Alfred Andersson scored to equalize at 3-3.
The match seemed destined to end in a draw, but with only four minutes left of regular time, Mahamed Abdi Ali scored the decisive goal for Rimforsa IF B, and the match ended 4-3 in favor of the home team. Rimforsa’s Elias Kujansuu received a warning in the final minutes of the match.
Even though the audience was missing from the stands, the match offered entertainment and many goal-scoring opportunities. Rimforsa's victory meant they took an important three points in the standings.
