It was a hot evening at Hackelvallen when Rimforsa IF B hosted Hägerstads IF in Division 5 Östergötland Västra. With almost 200 spectators present, the atmosphere was lively as referee Thomas Andersson kicked off the match.
It took only five minutes for Rimforsa IF B to take the lead through Joakim Claesson, who found the net after a fine pass from a teammate. The home side continued to press, and it wasn't long before Mohamed Ali scored, increasing the lead to 2-0.
Hägerstads IF tried to hold their ground but struggled to create any dangerous goal-scoring opportunities. Instead, it was Rimforsa IF B that continued to dominate, and in the 20th minute, Axel Svärd scored, extending the lead to 3-0.
Hägerstads IF attempted to get back into the game, and Markus Jansson received a yellow card for a tough tackle. However, it didn't help, and in the 74th minute, Arvid Borell finally scored for the away team, reducing the deficit to 3-1.
Rimforsa IF B had a few nervous moments when Joakim Claesson received two yellow cards and was subsequently sent off, but that did not prevent them from scoring another goal in the 90th minute, thanks to Murteza Panahi. Hägerstads’ Gabriel Jönsson also received his second yellow and was sent off just before the final whistle.
The match ended 4-1 to Rimforsa IF B, who can count this as an important victory in their pursuit of success this season. Hägerstads IF had a tough match but will look to regroup next time.
