IFK Osby achieved a convincing victory when they faced Mala IF at Osby IP on Thursday evening. Despite the attendance not even reaching triple digits, the home team provided an entertaining match with several excellent performances.

Referee Håkan Hellberg and his assistants Ahmed Dawood and Simon Olsson had quite a bit to manage during the match, as a total of six yellow cards were issued. The first to be cautioned was Mala IF's Haris Crnalic in the 34th minute.

However, it was the home team, IFK Osby, that took the lead when Max Sandberg scored in the 38th minute. The goal was a true class shot, and the score of 1-0 held until halftime.

After a couple of early warnings for IFK Osby in the second half, they managed to extend their lead in the 64th minute. Robin Andreasson scored with a so-called header goal, making it 2-0 for the home team.

The remainder of the match was dominated by several more cautions, but it wasn’t until the 90th minute that the ball found the net again. Max Sandberg scored his second goal of the match, setting the final score at 3-0.

Thus, IFK Osby was able to collect three important points, while Mala IF left without any points, and the small crowd witnessed an entertaining encounter with several fine performances from the home team.
