It was certainly a one-sided affair when Helsingborgs AIS hosted league leaders Råå IF at Olympiafältet, Plan 6. Right from the start, Råå IF showed why they are at the top of the table, and it didn't take long for the goals to start pouring in.
In the sixth minute, Fady Alaaraji scored 1-0 for the visitors, which was the kickoff for a real goal fest. Alaaraji continued to deliver and had completed a hat trick even before halftime, giving Råå IF a 3-0 lead.
It only got worse for the home team as Marcus Werner Rüpprecht and Rasmus Bjurberg extended the lead to 5-0 before the break. At the end of the first half, Omar El-Assadi also made it 6-0 before the teams headed into halftime.
In the second half, Alexander Akkache managed to pull one back for Helsingborgs AIS, making it 1-7, but it was merely a consolation in a tough match. With three additional yellow cards, one for each team, the second half was heated.
As the match clock approached 90 minutes, Omar El-Assadi scored his second goal of the day, sealing the final score at 1-8 for Råå IF. A dominant victory for the league leaders who demonstrated why they sit at the top of the table.
After the match, Helsingborgs AIS remained in a modest position, second to last in the table, while Råå IF continues to dominate and lead the league. A heavy defeat for the home team, but an impressive victory for visiting Råå IF, who leave with three well-deserved points.
