It was a rather calm first half at Björkavallen A-plan as Esperöds SK hosted Åhus IF in Division 5 Skåne Östra. Both teams struggled to create scoring chances, and the match was even. But suddenly, it happened— in the 25th minute, Åhus IF's Sebastian Siversson scored a fantastic goal, putting Åhus in the lead at 1-0. It was a true dream strike that silenced Esperöd's home crowd.
The second half was more eventful. Åhus continued to create dangerous situations, and in the 71st minute, Siversson scored his second goal of the evening, extending Åhus's lead to 2-0. Esperöds tried to fight their way back into the match, and in the 82nd minute, Kim Andersson Losell received a yellow card for a tough tackle.
But Esperöd did not give up and forced a goal in the 86th minute through David Schön. The home crowd ignited and pushed for the equalizer, but it wasn’t enough. The match ended 2-1 in favor of Åhus IF.
It was a well-played match with both teams fighting hard. Åhus IF displayed effective attacking play and secured the victory. Esperöds SK battled bravely but could not come away with any points that evening. Referee Naim Bytyqi and assistant referees Martin Krsoski and Shaban Sylejmani officiated the match excellently. Despite there being no home crowd at the venue, the atmosphere was vibrant, and the match offered excitement right up to the end.
