It was an exciting match between Sövestads IF and Vanstads IF at Sövestads IP A-plan in Division 5 Skåne Östra for men. The match started at 1:00 PM on Saturday afternoon with only 40 people in the stands. The referee for the match was Christoffer Jakobsson, assisted by Frank Straubel and Sejdi Karaliti.
Sövestads IF started the match strongly, and after 25 minutes of play, Anton Lidholm managed to score the first goal for the home team, giving them a 1-0 lead. However, Vanstads IF did not give up, and after another eight minutes, Viktor Rosberg equalized with a goal for the away team, bringing the score to 1-1.
Vanstads IF continued to apply pressure on Sövestads IF, and just before halftime, Anton Granzén scored a goal from a corner kick, giving the away team a 1-2 lead.
The second half began with an offensive Sövestads IF, but the team received a yellow card for Linus Lindqvist Liljegren's tackle. After seven minutes, however, Adam Jönsson equalized for Sövestads IF, alleviating the pressure as the home team continued to create chances.
The match became intense, and Max Jeppsson from Sövestads IF received a yellow card after a tough tackle. Viktor Rosberg from Vanstads IF also received a yellow card for unfair play.
With only two minutes left of regular time, Sövestads IF was awarded a free kick. Anton Andersson was able to put the ball in the net, giving Sövestads IF a 3-2 lead and thus becoming the match winner!
The match continued with intense play, and the referee chose to issue yellow cards to both Hugo Allar from Vanstads IF and Albert Murath from Sövestads IF in the final minutes. However, Sövestads IF managed to hold the away team back and win the match 3-2.
After the match, Sövestads IF was in 10th place in the standings while Vanstads IF remained at the bottom of the table.
