Skurups IP's A field was full of anticipation as Skurups AIF hosted Skegrie BK in an important match in Division 5 Skåne Södra. The match started rather cautiously, and it wasn't until the 34th minute that we saw the first warning when Isaac Mattiasson from Skegrie BK attempted a rough tackle on a Skurup player.
But it was in the 42nd minute that Skurups AIF broke through, as Simon Johansson ran through Skegrie's defense and shot the ball into the goal, giving Skurup a 1-0 lead. Skurup continued to dominate the game, and in the 57th minute, Filip Lindblom made it 2-0 after receiving a long pass from his teammates.
Skegrie desperately tried to get back into the match, and in the 77th minute, Sonny Johnsson managed to score a goal, reducing Skurup's lead to 2-1. However, it wouldn't be enough as Skurup was the stronger team in the match.
In the 88th minute, Leon Meha from Skegrie received a warning for a rough tackle on a Skurup player. And just before the end of the match, Oskar Olsson from Skurups AIF scored a goal, sealing the match with a final score of 3-1. With this victory, Skurup maintains its position in the upper half of the table, while Skegrie continues to struggle to find their first win of the season.
