Husie IF won an exciting and intense soccer match against Lunds BOIS with a score of 4-3 on Friday evening at Husiegårds IP A-plan. The match had an attendance of 96 spectators and the referee for the day was Florent Fazliu, assisted by Daniel Svenning and Omran El-Kayed.
The match started at a high tempo, and it was Husie IF that scored the first goal just four minutes in when Adam Fakhro found the net. The team continued to dominate and increased their lead to 2-0 in the nineteenth minute with a free-kick goal from Mattias Lindell. Azaan Mahmood then added another goal in the 35th minute, allowing Husie IF to head into halftime with a solid 3-0 lead.
However, Lunds BOIS showed no hesitation at the start of the second half and quickly reduced the deficit to 3-1 with a goal from Erik Folke after fifty minutes of play. The team continued to press, and Hiyab Negash scored a beautiful goal in the 57th minute, making the match even more exciting.
But Husie IF regained the initiative when Mattias Lindell scored his second goal of the evening in the seventieth minute, increasing the lead to 4-2. However, Azaan Mahmood received a yellow card in the 74th minute, while Lunds BOIS received a yellow card for their team leader Magnus Kristofer Korol in the 76th minute.
Lunds BOIS did not give up, and Juandy Sierra Ryman scored a goal in the 81st minute, reducing the score to 4-3. But when Erik Folke was sent off in the 90th minute, the team lost much of their energy and was no longer as threatening. In the end, Husie IF held onto their lead and won with a score of 4-3.
